Community Learning Professional Development
As part of the Community Learning and Skills Development service, we offer a wide range of accredited and non accredited courses to suit your professional development needs. Working with individuals and businesses we are able to offer teacher training, presentation skills, equality and diversity, safeguarding, IT and other business development facilitated workshops. We cover the whole of Suffolk and can deliver onsite or at our own premises at times that suit your business needs.

City and Guilds 6317 Assessor Award The assessment and quality assurance qualifications will be part of an integrated suite of Training, Assessment, Quality and Assurance (TAQA) qualifications for practitioners working in, or looking to enter roles in assessment and quality assurance. They have been designed to replace the Assessor and Verifier (A&V) units. |

CTLLS - Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector A blended learning course combining taught sessions with distance learning to reduce time away from work while you learn. Practical teaching course which will confer associate teacher status. |

Introduction to Trainer Skills The City and Guilds Introduction to Trainer skills qualification aims to provide your staff with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to presentation and training skills. PTLLS Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector The Award is an entry point and introduction for those new to teaching and training or those wishing to teach or train in the Lifelong Learning Sector. It is the appropriate qualification for those seeking a ‘stepping stone’ to further qualifications that entitle them to teach in either an ‘Associate Teacher’ or ‘Full Teacher’ role*. It confers with the newly required ‘threshold license to teach’ in the Further Education (FE) teaching sector |
