We are unique in the area. Only Great Yarmouth College offers study opportunities from entry to degree level.
On our campus you will find 14-year-old high school pupils on one of our highly successful 14-16 programmes, to school leavers on all level of further education courses, from entry to BTEC national diploma level, to adults returning to learning, apprentices on day release courses and degree students.
There are also employees on specialist training courses, students on new foundation degree courses, Entry to Employment (E2E) students and adults training part-time for a career change.

Access to HE Counselling - Level 3 Certificate This is a part time course which gives learners an opportunity to develop their knowledge of counselling, practice their skills, develop self awareness and self growth. It will enable progression to higher levels of study, for example BA (Hons) Person Centred Counselling, or other courses at the same level. |

Alcohol: Responsible Retailing BIIAB Award Level 1 The course will involove looking at the nature of alcohol, common measurements of alcohol content and the effect it has on the human body, the main issues in the 2003 Licensing Act, the protection of children, sale, consumption, and other activities, recommended forms of proof of age, how to recognise and handle drunkenness of customers and the importance of doing so in relation to the law and the social responsibilities, potential causes of conflict and crime, appropriate strategies to prevent and eliminate these and the importance of personal safety. |

Anatomy, Physiology & Massage - Futures - Short Course This course is an introduction to the basic principles and practices of Swedish Massage and is for the complete beginner. Throughout the course you will learn the classical massage movementsnd understand the contra-indications to massage treatments. During the practical sessions, you will have the opportunity to perform massage techniques such as effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, vibrations and percussion movements in the correct sequences to perform massages. (20 hour course delivered over 8 weeks) |
