We provide child protection training , both online and face to face to individuals, the voluntary, community and independent sectors

Compliant with the latest legislation and local SCB (Safeguarding Children Board) requirements, our extremely popular and interactive courses are at 2 levels and available either face to face or on-line:
1. Raising Awareness of Child Protection for all those who work with children and their families
2. Leading on Child Protection for all those who may make child protection referrals to socail care services or the police.
We also provide bespoke training to suit particular requirements and all our trainers are very experienced and qualified child protection professionals

Introduction to Child Protection

An online child protection training course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children and young people during work, voluntary or leisure activities. It has been specifically developed to give you an introduction to safeguarding and to raise your awareness of child protection issues. Visit www.safechild.co.uk for a free demo of the course.

Leading on Child Protection

This course covers the management issues for safeguarding in any organisation including policy making, rigorous recruitment, making referrals and managing allegations. The ‘Leading on Child Protection’ course can be taken either Face to Face or On-line. Both methods will provide you with essential information on: • Child protection policies and other vital procedures • Identifying concerns/making referrals • Handling allegations and complaints • E-Safety The course is compliant with local Safeguarding Children Board's (SCB) requirements as detailed in Working Together 2010 and "What to do if you're worried a child is being abused" 2006
