Asbsetos Awareness, UKATA Category 3 Under the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2006, employers are required to provide training for all their employees who may be exposed to asbestos as part of their working activities, as well as the supervisors of those employeees. This is a mandatory requirememnt of the Regulations. Refresher training should be given at least every year. The Asbestos Awareness course aims to increase basic awareness of asbestos related issues and is designed for people who work with the infrastructure or services of a building and those who supervise employees or contractors. This is a high impact and engage course with a practical approach based on the HSE Approved Code of Practice, L127. |
