Automated External Defibrillation (AED) For each minute that passes without defibrillation after the heart stops, the casualty’s chance of survival fall by about 10%*. While AED units are very simple to operate, and no previous first aid training is required, this four-hour course gives people the confidence to act quickly and effectively in an emergency. |

Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Requalification This two-hour course gives AED operators who have previously attended AED training the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and practice using a defibrillator. |

BSC Level 2 Award in DSE Risk Assessment Display screen equipment (DSE) is found in almost every workplace. This one-day course covers the requirements for carrying out a DSE risk assessment in line with the HSE’s guidance. |

BSC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment This one-day course teaches candidates how to carry out a risk assessment in line with the HSE’s five steps to risk assessment and leads to a Level 2 qualification. |

This one-day course is developed in line with the HSE’s changes to the guidance for first aid at work regulations for workplaces. It’s designed for smaller, lower-risk workplaces, where a risk assessment has indicated that a lower level of first aid cover is sufficient. |
