BTS Training offer a broad based, comprehensive range of Arboriculture and Utility Arboriculture nationally accredited courses and assessments, to include all aspects of health and safety training for both the professional and occasional tree worker from climber to groundsman.
We have a dedicated training ground with a training room, workshop and extensive woodland for trainees to practice their skills with qualified trainers and assessors. There is also a simulated HV and LV overhead power line that will enable the Utility Arboriculture trainees to practice in a safe environment.
BTS Training are a registered training provider for the Lantra National Training Organisation and are able to deliver a wide range of technical awards.

This 1 day course covers the use of a Chainsaw and/or other pruning tools working from a rope and harness in conjunction with a ground person in medium sized open grown trees and is aimed at the more experienced and physically fit operator |

This 3 day Lantra awards course covers trees whose effective diameter at felling height is between 380mm-760mm (i.e 1-2 times guide bar length). |
