Courses offered

Abrasive Wheel Setter

Abrasive Wheels are used in many areas and can be highly dangerous if used by untrained personnel. the law requires that anyone involved in mounting, dressing or setting Abrasive Wheels is trained and certified.

COSHH Safety Awareness

The half-day course will enable delegates to understand the main objectives of the regulations and help them carry out assessments to implement safe systems, procedures and records.

Elevated Work Platform

This one-day course is designed for participants to understand the safe methods of operation for Elevated Work Platforms. To train operators to correctly inspect, set up and safely use Elevated Work Platforms.

Fire Marshall - Fire Safety

This one-day course has been designed to train the delegate in the skills required to become a competent Fire Marshall.

Fork Lift Operator's Skills Training Session (Half Day- 3 Operators)

The course encourages the driver to discuss typical operational issues, reflect on company requirements and understand the route causes of accidents.

Fork Lift Truck - Existing Operator

Trainees will learn to operate a truck safely and correctly in accordance with the manaufacturer's handbook and accepted good practices. They will clearly understand the causes of instability of truck and truck loads and be able to carry out a routine daily or pre-shift inspection of the truck. This course will also provide underpinning knowledge for an NVQ.

Fork Lift Truck - Novice Operator

Trainees will learn to operate a truck safely and correctly in accordance with the manaufacturer's handbook and accepted good practices.

Fork Lift Truck - Safety Refresher

Trainees will recieve a refresher on the do's and don'ts of safe operation. The aim of this one-day course is to establish the current ability of the operator, to give corrective instruction and provide underpinning knowledge towards an NVQ.

Health & Safety Foundation Course

This one-day course trains workers to ensure that their individual and collective actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and that their responsibilities are clearly understood.

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 ( LOLER)

The course will enable delegates to understand the main objectives of the regulations and comply with them.
