6 Sigma - One Day Course

Abrasive Wheels ( Type 41,42 and 27)

The course involves both classroom and practical sessions. It will introduce the employer and the employees duties for the use of work equipment and explain the relevant legislation and the responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Access Foundation

The course introduces the delegates to the fundamental skills required to build and use a simple Access database. It will act as an ideal stepping-stone to attending the more task based Access courses we offer.

Access Intermediate

With the increase in the use of databases to store data, end users are creating tables with no formal understanding or appreciation of the bigger picture which can result in unusable, time-consuming systems being created. Any database system is only as good as the person who created the tables. Getting this wrong is an expensive business as the data may have to be manipulated several times before it can become useful. It pays to get table design right before creating more complex forms and reports

Access VBA

This course is designed with the developer in mind. It focuses on the practical design and development issues relating to the production of bespoke systems. Access databases can be transformed into powerful, user friendly and safe applications. This course teaches not just the syntax of VBA for Access, but how to implement the language to get results. We emphasize the development of solutions can be easily modified to fit any database and how to program applications in a minimum of time

Access working with queries

This course focuses on the role of the database designer in the specification and creation of queries and will cover Access queries in detail. Covering both the theory and practicalities of query design this course takes the delegates through the various queries available in Access. It will explain the theory and practical elements of select, multi-table and action queries, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of this particular type of Access object.

Adobe InDesign CS-Introduction

The aim of this course is to introduce users to the concepts involved in Desk Top Publishing. Delegates will learn the crucial skills which will enable them to create a variety of documents, from one-page flyers and advertisements through to product brochures or newsletters - for pre-press or PDF consumption
