16th Edition Electrical Regulations

The 16th edition wiring regulations update course is designed for electricians and technical personnel who are qualified and have a working knowledge of the 15th edition of the wiring regulations or earlier.

Access Humanities and Teaching

1 year course, preparing students to study for a single or combined degree in humanities and/or social science subjects.

Access Social Work and Social Care Professions F/T

Are you a mature person and do you want to work in social work fields, family welfare or do you actually want to be a Social Worker, or a Probation officer? Do you want to go to University and study for a Social Work degree? If you can answer yes to any of the above this course is for you.

Access to Health and Life Sciences F/T

The Access to Health & Life Sciences course at Lowestoft College is a kite marked course, validated by the Access Courses Recognition Group via the Cambridge Access Validating Agency (based at APU in Cambridge). Successful students are awarded a certificate, and the qualification is recognised widely by universities and other HE institutions throughout the country, for admission onto courses such as Biological Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Science, Nursing, Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Biomedicine, Environmental Health, Marine Biology and many others.

*Access to Local Studies

1 year full-time course leading to a nationally recognised Access qualification, validated by the East Anglia Access Validation Consortium, which is based at the University of East Anglia.

Access to Social Science

This 1 year part-time course covers subjects to prepare students for a degree course in social science.

Accounting NVQ Level 3

Short course, with a competence based approach to obtaining a recognised NVQ qualification.

Administration LCCI Certificate 3

Students are given the opportunity to extend their knowledge and understanding of administration practice and develop relevant skills.
