1st Aid at Work - 4 Day (HSE approved) The course is for people who wish, or are required, to hold a full HSE (Health & Safety Executive) First Aid at Work Certificate. |

Access to Higher Education Diploma (Social Sciences) The Access Diploma prepares students for degree level study at university. The Diploma is suitable for all students who wish to study a degree in social sciences or related areas e.g. Social Work, Youth Studies, Criminology, Psychology or Sociology. AS Chemistry starts with a foundation module to help students gain a common level of basic chemical principles. Organic chemistry is introduced within the second module and a final module looking at physical chemistry completes the year. A2 Chemistry extends the knowledge gained in AS and looks at further aspects of organic chemistry, biochemistry and trends within the periodic table. Students will find practical, hands on experience a valuable and enjoyable way to learn. Chemistry is a challenging science requiring strong academic ability, good practical and deductive skills. Practical work is undertaken in a well-equipped laboratory. |
