The Apprenticeship team were established in September 2009 to work alongside NHS Organisations in Suffolk to help them engage with apprenticeships.

The Apprenticeship Team are working with 5 Key organisations, GP Practices and Dental Surgeries to explore how apprenticeship programmes can help existing staff gain valuable skills and training. Staff benefit from undertaking a nationally recognised qualification rather than short in-house bespoke training programmes which are not recognised across the NHS. By working in partnership with Training Providers and Colleges managers can select qualifications and programmes that benefit the individual and the team.
