Apprenticeships in Business and Administration - Work Based Learning

Apprenticeships are full time programmes for young people who wish to commence a career or already work in the business and administration industry. Young people work towards the qualification in the workplace. Learners will also be visited regularly by an assessor to assess their learning needs, practical skills and to discuss any problems. Learners will also have the option of attending college for workshops and extra support.

Apprenticeships in Children's Care- Work Based Learning

These Apprenticeships are full time programmes for people who wish to commence a career or already work in the childcare industry. Learners work towards the qualification in the workplace although college can be attended for help in Functional skills. (formerly key skills) and will need to attend on-line tests.(on-line tests will be arranged around working hours). Learners will also be visited regularly by an assessor to assess their learning needs, practical skills and to discuss any problems.

BTEC National Certificate in Children's, Care Learning and Development

Provided by Lowestoft College

This new course is now the equivalent of 3 ‘A’ levels and contains a number of units to be studied over two years. The Edexcel Level 3 BTEC National Certificate in Children's Care, Learning and Development consists of 7 core units plus specialist units that provide for a combined total of 720 guided learning hours (GLH) for the completed qualification

Care and Childcare Certificate/Diploma

DipHE/BSc (Hons) Child Health Nursing
