- Course 1 Level 3 Award in Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
Course 2 - Level 3 award in assessing competence in the work environment.
Course 3 - Level 3 award in assessing vocationally related achievement.
Course 4 - Level 3 Certificate in assessing vocational achievement.
Course 5 - Level 4 award in understanding the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and pracatice.
Course 6 - Level 4 award in the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practice
Course 7 - Level 4 certificate in leading the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practice. - Content
- Course 1 - single 3 credit unit - a knowledge-only route for those who want to know about the principles of assessment; for example, managers and those new to assessment.
Course 2 - two-unit 9-credit award - intended for those who assess in the work environment using a range of assessment methods.
Course 3 - two-unit 9-credit award - intended for those who assess in workshop or classroom-based environments.
Course 4 - three-unit 15-credit certificate which includes:
Unit 1 - understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
Unit 2 - assess occupational competence in the work environment.
Unit 3 - assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.
Course 5 - single 6 credit unit - a knowledge-only route for those who just want to know about the internal QA of assessment but who don't actually do it.
Course 6 - two-unit 12 credit award - intended for those who internally quality assure assessors and assessment but who don't manage the centre or other internal quality assurers.
Course 4 - 3-unit 17 credit certificate - for those who have wider quality assurance responsibilities and manage others, develop policies or manage external quality assurance visits. This is a qualification for lead internal quality assurers. - Cost
