About the Course
- Target
- Anyone new or relatively new to youth work, including part time staff and volunteers. Participants need to have some experience of working with groups of children/young people aged 8 and over

- The course contributes to the NOCN level Award in Youth Work Practice ( QCF).

- Content
- The course is run over 7 weeks including 3 evening sessions, a tutorial and tasks based in the learners youth work setting. Learners will complete a workbook including written assignments and a Journal as evidence as assesment. This course will give learners time in their youth work setting to put into practice learning from the evening sessions and complete the written assignments.
Participants should expect to undertake an average of 4 hours learning each week in order to complete this course. They will also be expected to attend all of the evening sessions and tutorial.
