The mandatory unit Solving Problems and Making Decisions is designed to develop practical techniques for tackling managerial problems and making decisions from gathering and interpreting information through to the effective communication of outcomes.


Units covered are:
3.01 Solving problems and making decisions - 11 hours
3.10 Introduction to leadership - 7 hours
3.11 Building the team - 5 hours
3.12 Motivating to perform in the workplace - 12 hours

By completing The Award students will be in a position to move quickly to the more advanced programmes of the Certificate and Diploma; as the credits in this qualification are automatically transferred.
