Objective
The Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management qualification aims to give practising or potential first line managers the widest choice for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing a very wide range of basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a first line manager.

The Certificate provides a more comprehensive programme that builds and broadens the skills and knowledge gained in the Award. Please note that students may join the Certificate directly and are not required to undertake the Award as a pre-requisite to the Certificate programme .

In this programme we explore organisational change giving participants a deeper understanding of this critical workplace issue and providing them with the tools to plan for and deal with organisational upheaval. The crucial skill of time management is also explored in the fourth mandatory unit of the Certificate.

Module 3
3.13 Developing yourself and others - 13 hours
3.18 Coaching and training your work team - 8 hours
3.30 Understanding the communication process in the workplace - 8 hours
3.31 Influencing others at work - 6 hours
3.32 Communicating one-to-one at work - 10 hours
3.33 Effective meetings for managers - 4 hours

For corporate clients customized programmes can be provided with a selection from 35 Units that provides best fit with the learning requirement.

By completing The Certificate students will be in a position to move quickly to toward the Diploma; as the credits in this qualification are automatically transferred.


Notional Credit Value - Minimum 20 credits
Guided Learning - Minimum 120 Hours - However to provide a solid foundation of underpinning knowledge the programme contains 130 online study hours
Duration - Complete within 2 years
