Objectives
The Level 5 Diploma in Management qualification aims to give practising managers the widest choice and has been specially designed to give practicing or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation in their formal development in this role.


The Diploma develops a comprehensive range of management skills, assisting participants in gaining knowledge at this level. The qualification builds on the Award and the Certificate and is particularly suited to the practicing manager. Please note that students may join the Diploma programme directly and are not required to undertake the Award of the Certificate as pre-requisites to the Diploma programme.

The additional mandatory units cover Critical Thinking - evaluating theory against reality - and Leading Innovation and Change - identifying opportunities for development and exploring the impact of organisational change on stakeholders.

* Level 5 Management requires that tutorial support be delivered in a combination of e-learning and face to face support. This will be assessed according to student progress. Learning delivery consists of a maximum of 75% online and a minimum of 25% facilitated.
