Perm, Relax and Neutralise African Caribbean Hair - Content
- This course will cover all aspects of perming, relaxing and neutralising Afro Caribbean hair.
The Theory:
·Product knowledge
·Hair and product chemistry
·Product selection
·Style analysis
·Aftercare advice
The Practical:
·Application of products
·Selected Technique
·Method of perming, relaxing & neutralising
You will also carry out Styling and finishing to complete the service, however this is not an assessed part of the programme.
The assessment process will be based on continual practical sessions, on paying clients. In addition there will be a written exam to demonstrate your full knowledge and understanding of the unit - Cost

The course fee is £700, which includes an internal registration fee, external registration fee and examination fee.
This is a full-cost course with no entitlement to Fee Remission
Will I have to pay any additional costs?
You will require a set of professional combs & brushes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, you will be advised as to the appropriate salon wear at enrolment. A text book will be recommended, estimated at £20.00 - Enrolment
