- CIMA qualifications are open to everyone and the level at which you enter will depend upon your existing qualifications. Some qualifications may enable exemptions to be awarded.
- Outcome
- On successful completion of the foundation level a Certificate in Business Accounting will be awarded. Success at the Managerial level will lead to the award of an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. Once all examinations have been passed students will become qualified management accountants and, when relevant work experience has been confirmed, the CIMA will award Associate Member status.

- As with all professional courses, the emphasis is not just on the acquisition of knowledge although this is important, particularly at the foundation level. When students reach the strategic level, issues are considered more from a strategic perspective, so that on successful completion of the programme students have the relevant skills, knowledge and awareness to deal with all financial matters in the business world.
