- Most of our A Levels have special entry requirements. Please see individual subject information for details. In general Oxford Open Learning will admit students for A Level who have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C and above. These would ideally include English and Maths.

At the end of the course, you should be able not only to produce final accounts, but also to interpret a wide variety of financial documents. ‘A’ level Accounting provides the perfect theoretical background for someone planning a career in accountancy. - Content
- Each lesson begins with a set of clearly stated objectives and an explanation of its place in the overall programme of study. Effective learning is encouraged through frequent activities and self-assessment questions. There are thirteen tutor-marked assignments (known as TMAs).
The Syllabus:
This course prepares candidates for the AQA Accounting A2 level syllabus 6121, for examination in 2008 and later years. The full Advanced Level qualification comprises AS and A2. We have chosen this syllabus as it is the most suited for distance learning.
