This half day course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they require to manage staff and volunteers who exhibit difficult behaviour or who present particular challenges. It looks at some of the potential causes of poor performance & behaviour and methods of dealing with them.

Participants will cover the following subjects:
* Am I a good manager?
* How much should I know about my staff and volunteers?
* Possible causes of bad behaviour or poor performance, including stress
* Policies and procedures designed to help you manage the poor performer
* Different strategies to use

The course can also be delivered in-house or be tailored to an organisation’s particular needs.
