Introduction to the CDM Regulations Introduction to CDM ACOP (Revised 2002) Overview of the Roles and Duties of: Clients, Designers, Planning Supervisors, Principal Contractors and other Contractors. Specific Roles and Duties Course will then be structured to one or more of the following: Client, Designer, Planning Supervisor, Principal Contractor Contents and Preparation of the: Pre-tender HandS Plan (n/a to Principal Contractor or Contractor) Course structured to all of the foillowing: Client, Designer, Planning Supervisor Construction Stage HandS Plan (course structured to 1 or more of the following: Client, Designer, Planning Supervisor, Principal Contractor, Contractor) HandS Files 9 as Construction stage list above) Models and examples of: Pre tender HandS Plans (n/a to Principal Contractor, contractor) HandS files Procedures and check lists Risk assessments Method Statements Informing the Client Other Resources and Information Action Plan Benefits to you and your organisation: The end of the course will have provided participants with the skills to enable them to: Aquire a good understanding of when the regualtions apply Gain an overview of the roles and duties of the Client, Designer, Planning Supervisor, Principal Contractors and other Contractors Understand in detail the specific roles and duties of one or more of the Client, Designer, Planning Supervisor, Principal Contractor and other Contractors Gather information and Prepare for a Pre tender HandS Plan, Construction Stage Plan and HandS Files Formulate a personal action plan
