- Target
- This course is for people who have a basic knowledge of double-entry book-keeping.
- Entry requirements
- Because it is a beginners' course students will not be expected to have any previous experience of computerised book-keeping.
- Outcome
- Students who successfully complete this course will receive a Diploma in Computerised Book-Keeping, which is nationally recognised for all book-keepers using a computerised system.

- Content
- This course combines practical exercises with discussion to give students the opportunity to raise any particular issues relevant to the working environment. The course comprises a range of units including:- * Initialise the system * Enter details from Sales and Purchasing invoices and credit notes * Produce reports relevant to the Sales and Purchase Ledgers * Deal with recurring payments and receipts * Adjust accruals and payments
