- Entry requirements
- Successful completion of NVQ2 in Accounting, 'A' Level Accounts, two academic 'A' Levels, a GNVQ Advanced or AVCE in Business, or on the basis of relevant accounts experience.
- Outcome
- NVQ 3 in Accounting.
Students may wish to progress onto NVQ Level 4 in Accounting. - Content
- The qualification is gained by achievement of competence in a range of units which reflect the work of an Accounts Assistant. Students will be asked to purchase a package of learning support materials which act as a reference text, and a workbook of practice exercises. Subjects covered:- *Maintaining Financial Records and Preparing Accounts *Recording and Evaluating Costs and Revenues *Preparing Reports and Returns *Working with Computers *Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe and Productive Workplace
