- On Completion of any of our A+ Certification curriculum’s, you can apply for your internationally recognised A+ 220-601 and 220-602 or 220-603 or 220-604 Examinations. Please note the new exams are not available until March 2007. Exam fees are currently £108 + VAT each.

A+ New 2006 Examinations
The A+ certification and exam structure has been updated to reflect both the changes in technology since the last exam update in 2003 and the unique requirements of evolving IT job roles. The new A+ exams place emphasis on areas such as security, safety, communication, professionalism and more.
The new A+ certification path consists of 2 exams. The first exam, Essentials (Exam 220-601), covers basic IT knowledge including OS Technologies and Hardware. The second exam consists of 3 possibilities:
Exam 220-602 - IT Technician
Exam 220-603 - Remote IT Technician
Exam 220-604 - Depot Technician
Please Note: Our A+ Certification course consists of the 220-601 and 220-602 courses. The 220-603 and 220-604 course would have to be purchased separately at £100 per course.

A+ 220-601 Course:
The A+ 220-601 Course will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ Essentials certification exam (2006 Objectives). Students will obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to install, build, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, and performing preventative maintenance on personal computer hardware and operating systems.
A+ 220-602 Course:
The A+ 220-602 Course will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ 220-602 certification exam (2006 Objectives). Students will learn how to support PC hardware in a business setting, including installation, troubleshooting, and component replacement. - Cost
