Summary: The course aims to enable a learner to undertake the basic operation of a computer.

Target: Complete beginners
Entry requirements: The ability to switch on a computer is assumed.
Outcome: This course prepares the learner for the ECDL Introducing Computers online test which is undertaken at the ITeC. Progression could be through 6 additional ECDL subjects which could ultimately lead to the full European Computer Driving Licence qualification.

Learners start and complete the course in their own time. Tutor supported ITeC workbooks and/or learndirect online materials are available depending on the chosen method of learning.
