- The course will cover: * Introduction * Training and appointment of persons to mount abrasive wheels. * Slides- workshop accidents * Composition, types and forms of grinding wheel Safety Requirements * Grinding Wheels * Wheel and spindle speeds * Handling and storage of wheels * Inspection of wheels * Wheel dressing * Protection devices and safety features * Wheel mounting and dressing * Adjustment of rest and guards Training method: Seminar, demonstrations, practical activity A practical and written test on the day
