- Summary
- IT training and support is provided to all levels of trainees from the complete beginner to the more experienced and all levels in between. Trainees may gain experience working on exercises and real work at a level they can cope with, building their skills steadily and at their own speed. As they go they may gain ITQ qualifications at level 1 or 2 as Awards or Certificates. As well as a useful asset for the CV, learning can be to support other working skils such as manufacturing, CNC, CAM, CAD or administrative jobs or using media programmes, etc.

- Content
- Anyone referred to Workwise, may enrol for training at Workwise. However, we should stress that any training undertaken is targeted to the individual’s training requirements towards future employment aspirations and within their Workwise programme. Workwise embrace life long learning and encourage adults to think about their own experiences and what they bring to learning.
Workwise is a Provider Partner with the West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds and as such follows the same quality assurance of provision and delivery of course, national and in-house. Also Workwise is, in its own right, an approved centre with the Open College Network
The Learning Environment
Rather than a traditional classroom base for learning, Workwise offer its learners a realistic working environment. Workwise trainees do not join us for a course alone, but get with it the opportunity to “do” the job, communicate with others in a real working environment and within that to be given the tools to achieve a suitable targeted qualification while building up self-confidence and work stamina. This gives the opportunity to gain experience while working towards your chosen qualification, builds up self-esteem, confidence and a belief in your own ability to more towards employment. - Cost
