- This is a one-day hands on course for experienced users who wish to extend their range of commands and make use of the products more complex facilities.
You will need to be familiar with editing and formatting in Word for Windows, or have attended the Word for Windows Intermediate course.

- Business users and Home users.
- Entry requirements
- Students will need to be experienced using Microsoft Word to an intermediate level or have attended the MS Word Intermediate course.
- Outcome
- On completion of the course students will be able to use advanced features and commands in Word. You will be able to create powerful documents and integrate them with other products in the Microsoft Office Suite of software. You will be able to design and publish on-line forms, create master documents, save multiple versions of a document and track changes.

Module 3- Saving Time with Wizards and templates
- Creating your own templates
- Create envelopes and mailing labels
- Create a document based on a template
- Crate an Organisational Chart
- Find and Print Multiple Files
- Search for summary information
Module 4- Tracking changes
- Saving Versions
- Comparing Documents
- Advanced Printing
- Double sided printing
- Printing Portrait and Landscape pages within the same document
- Create a Print Macro
Module 5- Recording and saving macros
- Creating macros in templates
- Running and Editing your macros
- Assigning macros to buttons or shortcut keys
- Creating new toolbars and modifying existing tool bars
Module 6- Printing tables and forms
- Working with Forms
- Create an electronic form template
- Insert text fields, drop down lists, and check boxes for easy data entry
- Protect a form for on-line completion
- Enter data on an on-line form.
