Content: The aim of this course is to test the candidate's ability to:
draft financial statements,
prepare statutory documents and returns,
set up specialised accounts
understand the requirements for the capital structure of companies and the admission of new partners
treatment of goodwill.

On completion of this course candidates should have covered the following:
Unit 1 Partnerships
Unit 2 Limited liability companies
Unit 3 Elimination of bookkeeping errors
Unit 4 Accounting adjustments
Unit 5 Manufacturing accounts
Unit 6 The preparation of final accounts in vertical and horizontal format
Unit 7 Form for sole traders, partnership, non-trading organisations and limited liability companies
Unit 8 Accounting concepts and conventions
Unit 9 Calculation and interpretation of accounting ratios for liquidity, efficiency and profitability
