Target
Businesses and individuals who need to use databases in their daily work
Entry requirements
A basic understanding of file management and computer literacy. Attendance at a suitable foundation course would be an advantage but not essential as any gaps in understanding can be covered.
Outcome
At the end of the course, database users will be able to create simple databases and use them to store, retrieve and process information needed for their business, work or other interests.

Based on the Microsoft Office database system, and a relational database, the course will cover:
