About the Course

Target
a) Those interested in obtaining the Health and Safety passport as a means to gain employment, or b) Clients who wish to ensure the safety awareness of employees and contractual staff.
Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required.
Outcome
Successful candidates receive a credit card size Health and Safety Passport, allowing them access to major construction engineering sites on-shore, off-shore and in Europe.
Content
* Introduction to Health and Safety Law, Work Permits * Safe working practices * Safe access and egress * Accident and first aid procedures * Fire precautions and procedures * COSHH and personal protective equipment * Manual handling * Noise * Working with cranes and heavy equipment * Excavations * Supervisory modules - tool box talks and job safety/talk analysis Although the course is structured to cover all the above criteria, we are able, if required, to tailor the course to include your own specific requirements.
