Career Development Loan
A Career Development Loan is a bank loan designed to help you pay for work-related learning. You don't have to start paying your loan back until one month after you stop training.
Grants and bursaries for adult learners:
Adult Learning Grant (ALG)If you’re going back to college to study for your first full Level 2 or first full Level 3 qualification, the Adult Learning Grant(ALG) could pay you up to £30 per week
Learner Support Funds
Discretionary Learner Support Funds are available in colleges and school sixth forms to help with learning costs. The funds are prioritised for those who face financial hardship.

General Federation of Trades Unions
The General Federation of Trades Unions Educational Trust has grants for full-time and Open University students of specific subjects within economic theory and history, industrial law, history and the principles of industrial relations.
